About 50 of our fifth graders enjoyed learning with Michigan authors today! Ruth McNally Barshaw is the author/illustrator of the six-book Ellie McDoodle Diaries series, and the illustrator of two more children's books. Charlie Barshaw is the author of seven short stories for Amazon Rapids. "When we see it, we can be it!"




Tomorrow is our second and final student count day of the school year. The state looks at positive student attendance as part of our school finance formula. Thanks in advance for doing your part in ensuring your child is on time and in attendance tomorrow.

Learning about the Holocaust happens in our history and language arts classes through the use of primary and secondary sources. We are fortunate to have skilled teachers who guide our learners through photographs, literature, and other material that may be difficult to process.
