At last night's Board meeting, our middle school RoboHornets led the Pledge of Allegiance. We also celebrated School Board Appreciation Month - thank you to Kendra Durga, Therese Haley, Courtney McCrimmon, Jim Neff, Betsy Ulicki, Carrie Whitaker, and newly-appointed member Chelsea Roland!

Congratulations to our VFW honorees! Middle schoolers Julian Brazier and Eli Wing were awarded scholarships for their Patriot's Pen essays. Heather Jensen, fifth grade teacher at Larson, was honored as Teacher of the Year. Ms. Jensen was also recognized on Saturday at the VFW District 11 ceremony. HCS is grateful to Commander Scott Taylor and all the members of Post 1075 for their support of these important programs. #HornetPride
