Please consider volunteering this Saturday, September 9th at the Clare County Fairgrounds in Harrison. Remember to bring a safety vest and/or box cutter if you have them. Volunteers (age 14 and up), with the ability to lift and carry food multiple times to load food into vehicles, are needed from 9:00 a.m. until early afternoon. For more information, please send an email to Clarecofood@gmail.com. Community service credits are available.

Our Hornets receive one free breakfast and one free lunch per day at school without worrying about qualifying based on income. While that is exciting, we still need everyone to complete and return the "Education Benefits Form". The eligibility determinations from the submitted forms are used for much more than meals -- state at-risk funding calculations, local distribution of Title I funding, and waiving testing fees. If you have already returned your form, thank you! If you have not done so yet, please try to do it next week.

Reserve your booth space today for the 2023 Craft Fair November 18th at Harrison High School.

Exciting to see our students visiting and exhibiting at the Street Fair! #HornetNation

Harrison High School is looking for a Special Education Paraprofessional. Please see job posting for application information.

This message is for all non-bus riders at Larson -- please note the following for dismissal:
1. If you are picking your child up early from school, it must be done by 2:30 pm. You will come into the office and sign them out.
2. If you are picking your child up at regular dismissal, no vehicles may enter the circular drive until 2:30 pm. Upon entry into the circular drive, please use the SDM app to check in that you have arrived for pick up.
3. Only use the SDM app for pick up through the circular drive, and stay in your vehicle.
4. If you are parking your car on or off campus for a student designated as "parent pick-up," DO NOT USE THE APP and please remain in your vehicle until we have fully cleared the circular drive -- DRIVERS IN VEHICLES IN THE CIRCULAR DRIVE WILL BE SERVED FIRST. Once those cars have been served, you may exit your vehicle and approach the front door. Please have photo ID ready when you come to the door and provide your child's name.
5. If you are walking up to the school to meet your child who is designated as a "walker," please wait in the grassy area at the east end of the sidewalk in front. * This is a change.* We will dismiss walkers once the circular drive is cleared, and they will come down to meet you.
We all have a common goal: a safe and secure dismissal.
Reminder regarding the School Based Health Center:
Consents must be updated every school year. If you want your child/student to be able to access the health clinic, please complete the updated consent as the ones from last year will expire on 8/31. Students who have not submitted the consent for this school year will not be able to use the clinic until a new consent is received.
Thank you to those who have already completed and submitted the consent for the new school year.
We'll see you tomorrow, Hornets!!
