Good morning,
Over the last few days I have been monitoring the projected weather for tomorrow, Friday. The models are all over the place, some with little snow predicted and others with a lot. Most of them do agree on a start time for the snow: 2:00 pm.
With safety first in mind, I have consulted with our bus director to ensure that if we planned for a half day, we could get all bus routes in and buses returned to the garage before 2:00 pm. I have also spoken with our food service director because we will be serving lunch as we do on other half days.
I do believe that we can safely transport students to and from school tomorrow on a half-day schedule. I know half days are not always easy on families, especially with younger students who need an adult at home in order to be dropped off by the bus, so I wanted to give you as much notice as possible.
MS/HS dismissal: 11:30 am
Larson dismissal: 11:45 am
It is possible that you may see other districts around us making different choices. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Judy Walton
Superintendent

What a great start to Reading Month - a virtual visit with renowned author/illustrator Peter Reynolds! All students at Larson were able to participate in this amazing learning.
