This week and always, we celebrate our social workers: Todd Bothwell, Kasie Cooper, Amanda Dolan, Bianca Hernandez, Melody Lake, and Jacqui Wilson.
School social workers bring unique knowledge and skills to our schools. They are trained mental health professionals who assist with mental health concerns, behavioral concerns, positive behavioral support, academic, and classroom support, consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators, as well as provide individual and group counseling/therapy.

Last evening, it was our privilege to host the Annual Winter Dinner Meeting for area school boards. Colleagues from Beaverton, Bullock Creek, Clare, Farwell, Gladwin, and Meridian joined HCS Board members to listen to MASB's Brad Banasik, Legal Counsel & Director of Labor Relations, discuss the Open Meetings Act.
