Our teachers are dedicated professionals who encourage and lift up the future stories of all learners. We can never thank them enough! #TeacherAppreciationWeek #HornetPride

All of the teachers in this short video from Google are representative of our teachers, and teachers everywhere. They truly are "architects of the future." #TeacherAppreciation Week #HornetPride

Our teachers make a positive difference each day in our learners' future stories! #TeacherAppreciationWeek

Teaching is hard work, even on the best days. On any given day, teachers do so much more: they solve disagreements, they offer bandaids, they give pep talks, they revel in lightbulb moments with learners, they encourage hearts, and they believe in every student's future story. #HornetPride #TeacherAppreciation Week

We can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Hornet Nation,
We just completed a lock-down drill across all five of our campuses, PreK-12. Teachers and students were asked to follow all procedures, including lights off, drapes pulled, and nightlock door stops activated.
Practicing such a drill can be stressful, and our teachers took extra care with students to ensure that they were safe, quiet, and even-keeled. We appreciate our partnership with local law enforcement from Harrison and surrounding areas, some of whom took extra time with our youngest students to make sure they felt okay after the drill was over.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your building principal or myself.

Following Spring Break, our medical provider will be out for 12 weeks on maternity leave. We will have a medical provider on Mondays, Stacey Williamson, FNP and she will only be seeing students. Some of you are already familiar with Stacey when she shadowed in our clinic. Our medical assistant will still be available for OTC medications, bandages, or other mild nurse concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience in the interim, and thank you for your patience until Michelle returns.
