Schools of choice applications for 2024-2025 school year
Under the Schools of Choice legislation (Section 105 and Section 105(c) of the School Aid Act), kindergarten through twelfth grade students residing within Clare Gladwin Regional Education Service District (RESD) and contiguous intermediate school districts, may apply to Harrison Community Schools for enrollment for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Application may be made for grades K-12 with unlimited openings.
Enrollment must be made to the school district no later than the end of the first week of school.
Transportation for these students is the responsibility of the parents or guardians.

A cohort of our 7th and 8th graders are enjoying a learning trip to the DC area. Early stops included the Arlington National Cemetery, Washington Monument, WWII Memorial, Korean and Vietnam Memorials, Lincoln Memorial, Ford's Theater, Einstein statue, and much more!
Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, our 6th-12th graders will be enjoying dedicated choice reading time during the school day. This builds on the rich tradition founded during preK-5, and is intended to enrich both reading stamina and comprehension.
We are seeking donations for age-appropriate books and magazines, ages 11-18, to build classroom libraries. Donations will be accepted at our administrative offices on Tuesdays and Thursdays all summer.
