SCHOOL REMINDERS

  • Picture Day is coming up on October 13th.

  • HMS Book Club starts Tuesday, October 6th, from 3:00–4:00 PM with Mrs. Loomis.

  • The featured book is Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix.

  • Permission slips are outside the office. Make sure they are signed and returned to Mrs. Loomis.

  • Students riding bikes or e-bikes should remember to follow all the rules of the road and ride safely.

  • Students walking to school in the morning should stay safely on the side of the road and in the dirt or designated walking area whenever possible.

  • For our back pack program please get ahold of Mrs. Hernandez by email. Bhernandez@harrisonschools.com

SPORTS UPDATE

  • 6th, 7th and 8th grade football have an AWAY game against Farwell.

  • 7th and 8th grade volleyball have an AWAY game tomorrow against Ogemaw.

  • Good luck to all of our Hornet athletes!

  • 7th Grade and 8th Grade girls basketball sign ups are on the outside of the office.

Annual Holiday Craft Sale
It’s back to school time. That also means updating the consent for the School Based Health Center. For those of you who wish to do so, please either complete the paper version in your child’s back to school packet. Or if you prefer, you can also complete an online version through the Harrison Community Schools website. Click on the menu button and choose School Based Health Center consent form. You will have to click that you agree, then complete the form and it will be sent directly to the Health Center staff. Please note that consents from last school year will expire on 8/31/26 and we will need a new one to serve your child for the current school year.
