Here is the HCS District Calendar for the 2026/27 school year. We look forward to welcoming students back on August 24th. Once we have the dates for Open Houses , we will announce them on our social media pages and the district website.

This afternoon, in conjunction with our law enforcement partners, Harrison Community Schools conducted a lockdown drill across all campuses. These unannounced drills are part of our safety plan and are required by state law. Many thanks to Deputy Oster, Emergency Management Director Becker, and all other participants.
Especially with younger children, the drills may make some anxious or stressed. Please know that our staff, with its training, supported all students. However, your child may still need to process the experience with you at home tonight.
