The Girls team came in 4th and the Boys Team came in 5th place.

Harrison Girls Ski Team Takes Back to Back Wins at Saginaw Heritage Jamboree and Benzie Invitational 

On January 26, 2010 the HHS Ski Team traveled to Saginaw’s Apple Mt. for another Jamboree meet.  The Girls Placed 1st with combined team score of 30 points for Slalom and Giant Slalom.

Paige Gillie, Slalom time was 27.41 which gave her 2nd place for that event and her Giant Slalom time was 29.28 which gave her a 3rd place for the event.  Jordan Coon, Slalom time was 28.35 which gave her a 3rd place for that event and in Giant Slalom her time was 29.11 2nd place for that event.  Ashley Moore, Slalom time was 30.04 which gave her 4th place finish in that event and in Giant Slalom her times 29.82 for a 5th place finish in that event.  Riley Romanowski, Slalom time was 30.96 for a 7th place finish and her Giant Slalom time was 32.28 for a 9th place finish.  Olivia Sharp Slalom time was 43.42 for a 14th place finish and her Giant Slalom time was 32.96 for an 11th place finish.  Our JV Girls also raced and Alyssa Price placed 1st in Slalom with a time of 35.89 and also placed 1st in Giant Slalom with a time of 34.69.  Savanna Duggan placed 2nd in Slalom with a time of 36.37 and also placed 2nd in Giant Slalom with a time of 35.73.

The HHS Boys Ski Team Placed 4th in the Jamboree with a combined total of 94 points in Slalom and Giant Slalom.  Colin Endress-Bercher placed 3rd in the Slalom with a time of 24.68 and placed 2nd in Giant Slalom with a time of 26.79.  Tanner Sharp placed 6th in Slalom with a time of 26.32 and in Giant Slalom he placed 6th with a time of 28.05. 

Dylan LaPorte placed 19th in Slalom with a time of 36.74 and in Giant Slalom he placed 18 with a time of 30.25.  Thomas Sofka placed 20th in Slalom with a time of 38.11 and in Giant Slalom he placed 23rd with a time of 37.19.  Doug Leary placed 21st in Slalom with a time of 38.94 and in Giant Slalom he placed 24th with a time of 38.87.  Kyle Fritzinger placed 22nd in Slalom with a time of 39.98 and in Giant Slalom he placed 20th with a time of 31.20.  Our JV Boys also raced and Ray Russeau placed 7th in Slalom with a time of 53.71 and in Giant Slalom he placed 8th with a time of 34.82.  Cody Hilyard placed 7th in Giant Slalom with a time of 33.46 and Nick Vasher placed 1st in Giant Slalom with a time of 29.08. 

The Next Meet for the HHS Girls and Boys Ski Team was on January 29, 2010 at the Benzie Invitational where the Girls placed 1st with a team total of 50 points.

Olivia Sharp placed 22nd in Slalom with a time of 1:20:87 and placed 20th in Giant Slalom with a time of 52.60 and a combined total of 2:13:47 for a 19th place finish over all.  Paige Gillie placed 3rd in Slalom.

The Boys Ski Team placed 6th at the Benzie Invitational.  Colin Endres-Bercher placed 2nd in Slalom with a time of 55:14 and placed 27th in Giant Slalom with a time of 44:88 and had a combined time of 1:40:02 for a 6th place finish over all.  Tanner Sharp placed 5th in Slalom with a time of 57:.65 and placed 19th in Giant Slalom with a time of 43:45 and had a combined time of 1:41:10 for a 10th place finish over all.  Doug Leary placed 24th in Slalom with a time of 1:17:91 and placed 11th in Giant Slalom with a time of 41:39 and had a combined time of 1:59:30 for a 20th place finish over all.  Thomas Sofka placed 29th in Slalom with a time of 1:24:63 and placed 33rd in Giant Slalom with a time of 55:15 and had a combined time of 2:19:78 for a 26th place finish over all.  Kyle Fritzinger placed 31st  in Slalom with a time of 1:44:29 and placed 32nd in Giant Slalom with a time of 53:84 and had a combined time of 2:38:13 for a 27th place finish over all.  Dylan LaPorte placed 23rd in the Giant Slalom with a time of 44:45.

The Ski Team travels to Crystal Mt. for the Manistee Inv. On Monday February 1, 2010, start time is 10:00 AM.  The next home meet is on Thursday February 4, 2010 at Snow Snake Mt. starting at 11:30 AM, this is also the conference meet for Harrison, Clare, Mt. Pleasant and Saginaw Heritage 

 Manistee Invitational on February 1, 2010 had a total of 12 teams that competed and the Girls Placed 3rd and the Boys placed 5th.  
On the girls side in Giant Slalom Paige Gillie placed 12th and placed 7th in Slalom, Jordan Coon placed 20th in GS and 10th in Slalom, Jesse Walraven placed 24th in GS and 27th in Slalom, Ashley Moore placed 31st in GS and 21st in Slalom, Riley Romanowski placed 43rd in GS and 25th in Slalom and Olivia Sharp palced 50th in GS and 43rd in Slalom.  
On the boys side in Giant Slalom Colin Endres-Bercher placed 7th and 4th in Slalom, Tanner Sharp placed 18th in GS and 11th in Slalom, Doug Leary placed 21st in GS and 35th in Slalom, Dylan LaPorte placed 42nd in GS and 29th in Slalom, Kyle Fritzinger placed 55th in GS and 45 in Slalom and Nick Vasher placed 60th in GS.
