1.  Retake MEAP High School Test if necessary.

2.  Attend local college night presentations and open houses.

3.  Talk with college representatives visiting the high school.

4.  Discuss career plans with counselor.

5.  Obtain college admissions applications for Michigan schools from the counseling office.

6.  Write for out-of-state college admissions applications.

7.  Apply for financial aid at selected college when applying for admission.

8.  Complete Federal Financial Aid Form.

9.  Register for the ACT Test in September (if not already taken)

10.  Take the ACT Test in October.

11.  Talk with your selected college about academic scholarships.

12.  Apply for scholarships.

13.  Forward any additional documentation requested to college financial aid office.

14.  Determine college choice     Notify admissions of decision and notify financial aid office of award acceptance/rejection.
