Class News
February 2010
We will exchange valentines on February 11. Students may bring them Feb. 8-11. The class list of 29 students was sent home.
We are practicing spelling words with songs. Students should be familiar with the words- and, are, can for, go, have, he, here, is, like, me, my, of, on, play, said, see she, that, the, they, to, was, with, you We will soon be adding more.
"B Books" should be coming home every day. Please make sure your child reads to you daily. Your child should be reading at least a level 3 book at this time.
Backpacks are needed everyday to carry the 9"X12" blue folder, shoes for gym, "B"books etc. We go outside and play in the snow whenever the wind chill is safe. Please make sure your child has snow clothing with names in everything. Each child has a place to leave things here if it's easier.
Tennis shoes are needed for gym/PE.
