Freshman Student of the Month for April is Kourtney Bush, daughter of Tina Bush and Lorne Roby. She was July 18th, 1997 and has Kayla Bush (sophomore at HHS), Lorne Bush (seventh grader), Keshia Tohlman, and Kelsey Fowler as her siblings. Here at Harrison High School, young Miss Bush enjoys English and Math classes. Mrs. Aleck notes that Kourtney “makes sure all her work is done. She always works to the best of her ability. She is quiet and shy, but is polite to everyone. She is helpful to others and easy to please.” Cassandra Chiesa, Mariah Roskamp, Rachel Szyska, Michael Roskamp, Shyla Cassiday, and John Vitite are some of her friends here. This “polite, fun, and caring” young lady hopes to be a veterinarian one day and says, “I love animals.” Congratulations, Kourtney! |

Sophomore Josh Kiger is April Student of the Month. Son of Jonny Kiger and Janice Wall, Josh will turn 17 December 19th and he has Mark Wall, Tavia Kiger, and Aston Kiger as his siblings. At Harrison High School, young Mr. Kiger is always polite and hard-working. “He gives 110 percent every all the time and is not afraid to ask for help if he needs it,” compliments Mrs. Karcher. Here at HHS, Josh likes Body Conditioning and was on the football team last fall and is on the track team right now. Derrick Davis, Brandon Brown, and Blaine Lamphiere are some of his friends here. When not in school, this tenth grader enjoys hanging out with those friends and fishing with his family. When he is through with high school, Josh plans on going to college and moving onto a career “that I don’t know what it is yet.” Hardworking, funny, and smart, Josh should go far in life! |

Kyle Gendron turned 17 January 18th and is our junior Student of the Month for April. Son of Gary and Sharon Gendron and brother to Nathaniel, he is a “hard worker and a positive role model for the underclassmen in Health class by showing respect and being responsible,” compliments Mrs. Karcher. Here at HHS, Kyle enjoys Math and English classes and is planning on playing football next fall. Zach Tessner, Ray Rousseau, Amanda Gildenstern, and Emanuel Butts are some of his friends here. When not in school, this tenth grader enjoys lifting weights, fishing, and hunting. Young Mr. Gendron plans on going to SVSU when he graduates to study mechanical engineering. Keep up the good attitude, Kyle! |

Senior Student of the Month is Danielle Keysor, daughter of Steve and Jackie. She has two younger siblings, Baylie and Reed Keysor and will be 18 September 19th of this year. “Danielle is always very concerned with her progress and doing the best she can do,” comments Mrs. Oakley. “She is a very nice young lady who is always very polite and helpful to those around her. She has a close group of friends, and they are all positive people to be around,” the teacher adds. Some of these friends include Kierstin Bondie, Catrina Smith, Amanda Brandenburg, Caitlin Mondeau, and Cassie Sprague. At Harrison High School, Danielle has been on the softball team in the past and was on the Bowling team this winter. Forensic Science and Ceramics classes are two of her favorites. In the future, Miss Keysor plans to attend MMCC in the fall and would like to pursue a job in the forensic field. She describes herself as “funny, honest, and friendly.” You have a great future ahead of you, Danielle! |
